The Skill Share Plus Program is a new pilot program to help members with those issues that may take just a few more hours than the traditional one hour skill share.

Financial Advisory Sessions with Filament Essential Services  (FREE for members!)

We know managing finances can be a challenge for nonprofits. This 4-hour advisory session is to help you navigate the essentials as a member of Cause Collective. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your processes, this advisory session can be a great investment for your organization!

Some examples of what we can do:

  • Setting Up a Chart of Accounts: Organize your finances from the ground up.
  • Financial Review: Understand your current financial health.
  • Financial Reporting: Learn how to create clear and useful financial reports.
  • Fund Balance and Restrictions: Manage your funds with confidence.
  • Grant Revenue Recording: Keep track of your grant money accurately.
  • Budgeting and QuickBooks: Streamline your budgeting process and get the most out of QuickBooks.
  • Reconciliations: What accounts should be reconciled from the statement of financial position.

Program Overview:

  • Initial Session (2 hours): We'll start by learning about your organization and its current financial routines. We'll discuss your pain points, grant reporting requirements, and internal controls.
  • Follow-Up Session (2 hours): Within 5-10 business days, we'll meet again to present a customized packet of information addressing your pain points. We'll spend the session teaching and training you on how to implement our recommendations and remedies.

One of the most important things a nonprofit can do to help those they serve is advocate for them. We help nonprofits understand how to advocate and lobby to improve public policy, making a more supportive and stronger community.
